scruffosaurus scores a new Nintendo 3DS Pokemon 20th anniversary console bundle! This comes with both Red and Blue digital versions of the original games from the Nintendo eshop. What really sets this console bundle off are the two sets of interchangeable faceplates with the original artwork, one with Charizard from the Red version and the other set with Blastoise from the Blue version. And to really deliver on the nostalgia the home screen comes with music and sound effects from the game, as well as Pokemon themed backgrounds for both screens. For $200 USD, it comes with two $10 games and two sets of faceplates. Not a bad deal, especially if you are wanting to bring these OG Pokemon to the forthcoming Sun and Moon. Best of all this is simply an emulation of the original games, meaning they remain 99% unchanged. All the glitches remain, so you can go get your Mew or MissingNo., duplicate items or get to level 100 before Brock. The only alterations to Red and Blue include changing some animations that had been attributed to causing seizures for some children, and allowing for wireless trading via the cable club (yay for no cables!). Do you think this is a good deal? Let us know in the comments below if the original games make this bundle worth it to you.
