Spyro Reignited Trilogy finally gets subtitles, Heart Machine announces a new title, and Sega pulls Judgement from Japan retail and digital stores after one of the game’s voice actors is arrested on suspicion of cocaine use.

Not often subtitles are the lead item of a patch

When Spyro Reignited Trilogy launched last year without subtitles people noticed. Subtitles have just seemingly become a standard option just like volume control. For whatever reason the Spyro Reignited Trilogy launched without them but a patch today changes all that.

Subtitles are now added into all three games and can be turned on or off from the options menu. Motion blur can also be turned off now in the options. Full patch notes for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy can be read here.

Ash to ash

With a big indie hit like Hyper Light Drifter to their name Heart Machine is coming out with their sophmore title, Solar Ash Kingdom. Details are scarce right now and so far all they have provided is the announcement trailer. Solar Ash Kingdom looks similar to Hyper Light Drifter if you took the 2D graphics and turned them into 3D.

Uh oh

The West is patiently waiting for Judgement, the Yakuza spin-off that is picking up some buzz. Japan already has access to the game, or at least up until this morning.

Pierre Taki, actor and part of the Japanese techno pop duo Denki Groove, was arrested for suspected use of cocaine. A report by Nippon.com states that he was taken into custody upon suspicion of using cocaine either in Tokyo or around the area of the city. The site does go on to say that while no cocaine was found in his vehichle, a drug test revealed cocaine in his system.

Taki lends his likeness and voice in Judgement but that appears to be changing if Sega’s actions are any indication. The Japanese company pulled Judgement from both retail and digital stores and has even deleted mentions of the game on Twitter. Clearly this is a serious offense to Sega and they are not sitting idly by waiting the events to play out.

Judgement is supposed to launch for North America this summer but with this turn of events the release window is uncertain.
