A social hub is being added to Anthem, play Dragon Ball FighterZ for free on the PC and Xbox One this weekend, and four Command & Conquer titles have become backward compatible for the Xbox One.
Anthem and chill
While we’re yet to get hands on time with Anthem, there is no doubt that this is a title that you’re going to want to play with your buddies. As such, it would be a great idea to add an area where players can do so. Wouldn’t you know it, Bioware heard this request from fans and have added it to Anthem.
Details are still to come but Anthem lead producer Michael Gamble confirmed the news on Twitter that players will be able to go to a social hub after each mission. From there they can interact with the various NPCs, hang out with friends, grab another contract, and more.
After a mission, you can head back to Tarsis and catch up with some of the amazing characters we've created for you...OR...head back to the brand new Launch Bay, hang out with your friends, use the forge, reload and grab a new contract. Yeah, we listened to you... details soon! pic.twitter.com/m5sp96IpDh— Michael Gamble (@GambleMike) January 23, 2019
This might be a sign that Bioware is very keen on listening to the community, even for a product that is not on store shelves yet.
Ready for a fight?
Say it four times fast
Xbox One owners are getting four more backward compatible titles today and they all fall under one franchise, Command & Conquer. While EA might be shy when it comes to putting out new entries for the classic strategy title, you’ll at least be able to enjoy some of the older titles on your Xbox One. C&C 3: Tiberium Wars, C&C 3: Kane’s Wrath, C&C: Red Alert 3, and C&C: Red Alert 3 Commander’s Challenge are all playable on the Xbox One.
