Nintendo laid out their E3 plans to everyone today, which includes an unexpected surprise.  Some of you might not be old enough to remember but once upon a time, Nintendo held an event called the Nintendo World Championship.  Consisting of three games (Super Mario Bros., Rad Racer, and Tetris) players were tasked with certain objectives to move to the next game all while trying to get the highest score.  Exactly what games will be played in the championship remain a mystery.  The 2015 Nintendo World Championship takes place on Sunday June the 14th, Nintendo's Digital E3 Presentation takes place on June 16th, and a live Treehouse Update show from the E3 floor.  Those wanting to get their hands on Mario Maker will get to do so at 120 Best Buy locations throughout the country for the week of E3 as well.  Wonder if gold plated NES cartridges will be the prizes for the world championship...

The Ratchet & Clank movie gave fans more info on the voice cast along with the next game in the series. Both the Ratchet & Clank movie and re-imagining on Playstation 4 are moved out of 2015 and releasing in 2016.  The movie has an official release date of April 29th, while the game has yet to receive a date.  The re-imagining of the original Ratchet & Clank will feature new levels, weapons, completely updated visuals, and tie-ins to the movie.  The good news comes in the form of a star packed list of actors providing voices for Ratchet & Clank.

Paul Giamatti as Chairman Drek
John Goodman as Ratchet’s mechanic mentor Grimroth
Bella Thorne as Galactic Ranger Cora
Rosario Dawson as Galactic Ranger support team member Elaris
Sylvester Stallone as Victor Von Ion, Chairman Drek’s villainous lieutenant

Sony also says that it will be showing off the PS4 re-imagining of Ratchet & Clank very soon.  Sounds like we will see more at E3.

Life is Strange will get its third episode, Chaos Theory, next week on May 19th.
