Microsoft announced today that it is discontinuing the Kinect for Windows v2.  This decision is not due to lack of interest, as Microsoft has stated that there is actually high demand for Kinect on Windows.  With the sensors in the Xbox One Kinect and Kinect for Windows v2 almost virtually the same, Microsoft is consolidating its resources and only producing the Kinect for Xbox One.  A Kinect Adaptor for Windows is being offered for $49.99 to hook up the Xbox One Kinect to Windows computers and tablets.

Monster Hunter fans can get their free DLC for the month of April starting today.  As seen in the image above, this month features costumes for your Palico based on Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario.  Of course Luigi is also included.  You can also download the March DLC for free if you have not done so.
