Just in case you haven't heard yet, EA has revealed the first game engine footage of Star Wars Battlefront.  You can see from the trailer above that the graphics and sound are quite impressive.  If the models look almost like the real thing, that's because they just about are.  DICE has been working closely with Lucasfilm and able to obtain actual Star Wars film props.  A process is then made where pictures are taken from every angle of the prop and then imported into the game with perfect accuracy.  While there will be no campaign mode, there will be a solo mode where players can take on missions.  Online matches are looking to support 40 players doing battle on the ground and in air/space.  A co-op mode (available online and offline) which shares everything with your buddy; from weapons, spawns, and even unlockables.  Also included will be the ability to play as iconic villains Darth Vader and Boba Fett.

Now with The Force Awakens coming in late December, surely there will be some content from the movie coming to Battlefront.  Not only will players get some content relating to the new movie, but it will also be free. The Battle on the Planet of Jakku will be free to all players on December 8th, but anyone who pre-orders Star Wars Battlefront will get this content one week early.  The Battle of Jakku takes place on a remote desert planet on the Outer Rim where the New Republic has key Imperial Holdouts.  It looks like from the trailer that there will be at least four planets but the possibility of several maps to each planet.  The Battle of Jakku will feature two maps when it releases.  Star Wars Battlefront will release on November 17th on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.

Street Fighter V is still a ways away, and what better cure for waiting then another Street Fighter game?  Playstation 4 owners can get their hands on Ultra Street Fighter IV on May 26th.  The last edition of Street Fighter IV will cost $24.99 and will be available digital download only.

Corporate Vice President of Xbox in Europe Phil Harrison has chosen to leave Microsoft today.  Phil Spencer confirmed the news today in a tweet, thanking Harrison for his tenure at Microsoft.

Playstation is having another flash sale this weekend.  Games can be had for cheap on PS4, PS3, and Vita along with some action movies discounted as well.  Titles include Lords of the Fallen, Earth Defense Force 2025, and Hotline Miami.
