News Roundup January 26th

A little bit of Borderlands news coming out of PAX South.  Available on Tuesday the 27th will be a new playable character in Borderlands The Pre-Sequel;  Lady Aurelia the Baroness.  Older sister of Sir Hammerlock, Aurelia is somewhat of a big game hunter.  Her action skill, cold as ice, allows her to throw out a Frost Diadem Shard that seeks out enemies and attach to them while dealing constant damage.  If you are a fan of sniping, the developers had this in mind with Aurelia as the Huntress skill tree focuses on snipers.  Cold Money focuses on ice damage, including a skill that can add Cryo damage to any gun.  The final skill tree is Contractual Aristocracy, turning a co-op teammate into a servant.  Aurelia will be able to earn bonuses  for her kills as well as her servant.  The Lady Hammerlock DLC is included in the season pass, and will cost $9.99 on its own.  This DLC arrives on Tuesday January 27th for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.  If you are waiting for the Handsome Collection on Xbox One or Playstation 4, this DLC will be included.

While very little details were revealed, the fourth piece of DLC that will be a campaign add-on seems to go inside the mind of Claptrap.  Oh the possibilities...

And while during PAX a possible Borderlands 3 announcement was teased, that was not fully the case.  The good news is, Gearbox is ready to start on Borderlands 3.  Development has not yet started but Gearbox is looking for some help to develop the next Borderlands.   Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, sent out a tweet looking to help recruit help for the upcoming development.

Hope you are ready to be frightened again, as a new trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 3 has appeared online.
