Today, The Wall Street Journal published an article reporting that Microsoft is in talks to buy Mojang, the makers of the mega-hit Minecraft. TWSJ reports the deal may close as early as this week, at a price of $2 billion. The article does not name it's source, and only describes them as "a person with knowledge of the matter". Various news sites have reached out to both Microsoft and Mojang, but both refuse to comment. Mojang currently has two other games in it's stable, Scrolls, and Cobalt.
Sunset Overdrive and Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will both receive season passes. Starting with Lego Batman 3, the season pass includes six different "add-ons", three of which will be available when the game launches. These three add-ons are based on The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, and the 75th anniversary of Batman. No release dates or details for the other three add-ons were released. The season pass will cost $14.99. Meanwhile the Sunset Overdrive season pass includes two campaign expansions that will feature new areas, enemies, bosses, outfits, and more. A weapon pack featuring four new weapons will be included. And as a nice little touch, a bonus pack that includes six character outfits, two Amps, and two Traps will be available when the game launches.
