June 2, 2015 is now the official release date of the Batman: Arkham Knight.  After being planned for a fall release in 2014, the game was delayed to 2015, but no actual date was given- until today.  WB games also announced two collector editions for the game. The Limited Edition comes with an art book, a steel book case, a limited edition Arkham Knight comic, three New 52 character skins and a Batman memorial statue. The Batmobile edition comes with everything mentioned in the limited edition,  with the exception that the Batman statue is replaced with a fully transformable statue of the Batmobile.  The Limited Edition retails for $99.99 while the Batmobile Edition will run $199.99 and is available on consoles only.  Batman: Arkham Knight will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Developers for NHL 15 have said today that they plan on patching in a few features in an update in October.  These include "Online Team Play", and the ability to have a full amateur draft in "Be A GM" mode.  Note that these patches are (presumably) for the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game.  Fans have been vocal about various features, such as the EASHL online mode being absent from the "next-gen" versions of the game, but still present in last-gen versions.  NHL 15 releases tomorrow, September 9th.

A little more information has been released about Resident Evil Revelations 2, via Gamespot.  It is now confirmed that Claire Redfield will make her return to the series and be accompanied by Miora Burton, daughter of Resident Evil series character, Barry Burton.  The game will take place between Resident Evils 5 and 6.  Gameplay will apparently be more survival horror orientated like the earlier entries in the franchise.  The main story mode can be played in single player or co-op, Claire is set to be more combat focused, while Miora will play more of a support role.

Ubisoft today announced a new bundle of games; Assassin's Creed: The Americas Collection.  The bundle includes Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed Liberation HD, and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.  The Americas Collection will be released October 28th ( which used to be Assassin's Creed Unity's release date) for PS3 and Xbox 360, but no price has been announced.

Finally, via IGN, WB has filed a new trademark titled "WB Play" which speculates could be a digital distribution service.  Things covered in the trademark include audio/video broadcasting services, entertainment service, but most interestingly of all is "downloadable virtual goods".  While it remains to be seen if this rumored service is similar to Steam, EA Access, or possibly U Play, the official site for Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Mordor has the WB Play logo in the top left corner.  WB Play could be a digital distribution for many forms of entertainment, considering the amount of movies, TV shows, music, and games the company has rights to.
