Ubisoft has revealed price and details for it's season pass for Assassin's Creed Unity. Totalling over eight hours in new content, the season pass will include new mission, weapons, gear, skills, and a new single player story; the Dead Kings campaign. The Dead Kings campaign will take place after the main story in Unity, with Arno traveling and exploring the city of Saint Denis. However the sweet part of this season pass is the inclusion of an entirely new game, titled Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. ACC: China will be a 2.5D style of game, and will star Shao Jun, who was first seen in the Assassin's Creed Ambers animated movie. The Season Pass for Assassin's Creed Unity will run $29.99 and will be available by early 2015.
Steam is making a big overhall in it's store, making more games accessable. The update is live now, is Valve's answer to allow gamer's to find games easier in it's massive library. One such thing is the Discovery Queue; which users will be able to go in and see what's selling well, what you may have played before, and recommendations from Valve at what the user might be interested in. Users will be able to add games in the queue to their wishlist if they choose. Users can also sign up to be curators; recommending games to others on Steam.
Courtesy of Joystiq, it appears that a first-person view will be added to the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V. Other additions include more random events in single player, more animals to Los Santos, and receiving a free garage and new weapons for GTA Online players if transferring from Xbox 360/PS3.
Mojang's card-battle game, Scrolls, will launch later this fall on Tablets and will get a price drop. Scroll, which is currently available on PC and Mac, will drop from it's $21 price point to just $5. No need to get upset if you already own the game, existing players will recieve the $20 shard package for free. Also announced was cross-platform play, as well as the option to also transfer card collections from each platform as well.
Playstation TV has been given the release date of October 14th for North America, with a library of nearly 700 games. Gamers will be able to stream games such as PS1 classics Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid, as well as newer games like Borderlands 2. The Playstation TV will be available by itself for $99.99 or available in a bundle that includes a wireless DUELSHOCK 3 controller, an 8GB memory card, and LEGO The Movie Video Game for $139.99. An exclusive bundle will be sold at Walmart that includes everything in the previous bundle plus Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time (also $139.99). A list of games can be seen here.
The last piece last piece of Dark Souls II's Lost Crowns DLC trilogy will arrive one week later than expected. Crown of the Ivory King was scheduled to arrive Wednesday September 24th, but will now arrive on October 1st.
