Monster Hunter will be getting a little bit of Metroid for its coming release. In a trailer shown today for a Japan Nintendo Direct, we can see that players will be able to don the armor and laser cannon of the famous bounty hunter. Also seen is the ability to play (or costume presumably) as Samus, seen kicking some butt in the trailer. This will not be the only Nintendo crossover in the new Monster Hunter, as equipment for Link (of Legend of Zelda fame) will be in the game.

What is The Black Glove? It is a new game coming from Day for Night Games, a studio comprised of many former Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite developers. Described as a first-person experience, players are welcomed to The Equinox, an eerie 1920's theater that appears unstuck from conventional reality. The Equinox is a venue pervaded by weird dream logic, inexplicable holes in space, unshielded x-ray art installations, and tasteful use of crushed velvet. As the latest Curator, you must improve on the work done by the three creators in residence of The Equinox, and help bring the venue to glory. However the developers are asking for some help to make this game happen. You can visit The Black Glove's kickstarter page to help donate to what looks to be a very interesting experience.

The comic is brought to life with the help of touch navigation and animated panels, along with music and sound effects. Dogs of War will be available November 6 on iOS, and anyone who has the iOS version of Valiant Hearts: The Great War will receive the comic for free.
