If you are set to buy the Halo: Master Chief Collection, there are some good news and some...well...ok news. The good news is that the game has gone gold and is available for pre-download starting today. The other bit of news is Halo: Master Chief Collection will take up 45 GB of space on your hard drive from the disk install. Additionally, there will also be a day one patch that will take up 20 GB more of space. Explained on the Halo Waypoint blog, almost all the available space on the Blu-ray disk (45GB) is taken up, and the team decided not to cut corners to save disk space. Keep in mind that this is a collection of four Halo games and ALL of the multiplayer maps, so it's understandable why the game takes up so much space. You have until November 11th to clear some space on your hard drive, or get an external hard drive to store the game's large amount to data.
Upcoming racer Project Cars has been delayed from it's November 18th release date to next year on March 17th. The decision appears to be strategic, getting out of the busy holiday rush and give the developers some more time to polish the game.
