Coming in November will be two more Xbox One bundles, both involving Assassin's Creed Unity. Both bundles will include download codes for Assassin's Creed Unity and last year's Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag; with the one main difference is one bundle contains the Kinect while the other does not. The Kinect bundle will run $499, including the Xbox One, Kinect, both Assassin's Creed games mentinoned as well as a download code for Dance Central Spotlight. If you choose to go with the Kinect-less bundle, it will run you $399. This bundle is coming to North America on November 2nd, and while the download code for AC Unity will be included, it will not unlock till it's November 11th release date.
Coming in December will be a spiritual successor to Halo: Spartan Assault in the form of Halo: Spartan Strike IGN reports. The game will take place during the events of Halo 2, though its unclear if we will encounter Master Chief. Halo: Spartan Strike will release December 12th on Windows platforms ( desktop, Surface tablet, and Windows Phone ) and Steam for $5.99.
In a test of it's upcoming DRM-free online gaming platform, GOG is offering players free play for Aliens vs Predator Classic 2000 for 48 hours. The game is remastered from it's original release, optimized for modern systems along with Xbox 360 controller support. The full game is available for play, including multiplayer. In order to gain access to this offer, sign up for the next round of GOG Galaxy beta tests, with an activation code coming in the next few days.
